Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP in California is seeking Tax/Audit Interns to join our team. Start date is anticipated for January 2028 with an end date in April 2028, offering exposure to tax returns, audit work, and assurance services across multiple client engagements.

Interns will gain experience with procedures and systems, collaborate with peers and clients, and participate in formal training opportunities. A bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance in progress and CPA eligibility are preferred,

Qualifications

Working towards a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
CPA exam eligibility requirements per state.
General knowledge of accounting principles.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
Expands industry knowledge, through greater exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
Completes research and special projects as needed.
Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
