Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP is seeking Tax/Audit Interns for our California offices, including Carlsbad, Century City, Irvine, Ontario, and Pasadena. The role starts January 2028 and ends April 2028, with opportunities to learn tax returns, audit, and client engagements.

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is pursued, CPA eligibility expected, and familiarity with MS Office. Travel to client sites may be required, and compensation is competitive for California interns.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gain experience and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems.
• Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expand industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training.
