Job summary

CLA is seeking an Associate to join our National Tax Exempt (NExT) team in Houston. You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver customized tax compliance and tax advisory services to clients.

The role involves coordinating day-to-day tax workstreams with Seniors, Managers and Directors, learning new tax concepts and technology, and helping develop standardized templates and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• CPA exam is preferred for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services to clients.
• Coordinate day-to-day tax workstreams with Seniors, Managers and Directors to ensure projects progress timely.
• Willingness to learn new tax concepts and technology.
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools.
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience.
