Job summary

CLA is seeking an Associate to join our National Tax Exempt (NExT) team in Tampa, FL. You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver customized tax compliance and advisory services to nonprofit clients.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, 1 year of relevant experience, and CPA exam eligibility. The role emphasizes learning tax concepts, software, and using templates/tools to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to provide customized tax compliance and advisory services.
• Coordinate day-to-day tax workstreams with Seniors, Managers and Directors.
• Willingness to learn new tax concepts and technology.
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools.
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency and client experience.
