Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior Associate to join our National Tax Exempt (NExT) team in Dallas. You’ll collaborate with clients to deliver tax compliance and advisory services while partnering with other tax professionals to research complex issues.

The role emphasizes exempt and corporate tax expertise, managing engagements from scoping to delivery, mentoring junior staff, and leveraging technology to drive efficiency and client experience across our national practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Four years of relevant experience.
• CPA exam eligibility or completion preferred.
• Experience in business services or consulting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues
• Demonstrate exempt tax and corporate tax technical skills
• Manage engagements from scoping through delivery, with increasing ownership of timelines, budgets, and client relationships
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience
• Mentor associates and interns, helping build a high-performing, collaborative Exempt Tax team
