Job summary

CLA is seeking a Senior Associate to join our National Tax Exempt (NExT) team. You will collaborate with clients to provide exempt and corporate tax services, and help research complex issues while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

You will manage engagements from scoping through delivery, mentor associates, and contribute to standardized templates and automation to improve efficiency and client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Four years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in business services or consulting is preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Demonstrate exempt tax and corporate tax technical skills.
• Manage engagements from scoping through delivery, with increasing ownership of timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools.
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience.
• Mentor associates and interns, helping build a high-performing, collaborative Exempt Tax team.
