Wolf & Company, P.C. in Boston is seeking an entry-level Tax Staff to join our growing national firm.

You will focus on operating flow-through entities and gain the skills to help clients manage their tax obligations and improve financial performance. This role covers preparing partnership and S Corporation returns, withholding forms, and partnership allocations, while participating in tax planning and using tax software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting.
• Tax internship or 1 year of public accounting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated leadership and relationship skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare partnership and S Corporation tax returns.
• Prepare partnership withholding forms (Forms 1042 and 8804).
• Prepare partnership capital accounts and allocations.
• Participate in tax planning projects.
• Develop and use basic understanding of tax programs and software.
• Work with confidential client matters.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team to share industry knowledge.
• Conduct tax research related to federal and state income taxes.
• Build and manage client relationships.
• Perform other tax special project work.
