Job summary

Wolf & Company, P.C. in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Tax Manager for the Private Client Group to support individual and fiduciary taxation and estate planning. This partner-track role focuses on technical excellence and high-quality client service.

The Tax Manager will oversee multiple engagements, provide expert tax planning and compliance, and mentor staff while delivering timely results and strategic tax-saving strategies for clients.

Qualifications

• Masters in Taxation degree required.
• CPA certification required with 6+ years tax experience.
• Strong technical skills in tax preparation, review, and tax research.
• Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting and compliance services in a timely manner.
• Manage and drive the success of multiple engagements in all facets of individual taxation.
• Provide primary and secondary review of complex tax returns for individual and fiduciary clients.
• Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication and proactive tax-saving strategies.
