Wolf & Company is seeking an entry-level Tax Staff to join our national firm, focusing on C Corporation clients and building tax knowledge to help clients manage their tax obligations effectively and enhance their financial performance.

You will prepare returns for diverse industries, develop a basic understanding of tax programs, and work within a collaborative team while expanding your technical and professional skills. Salary is $68,000 with benefits and incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting.
• Tax internship or 1 year of public accounting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated leadership and relationship skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of returns for C Corporation clients in diverse industries including financial institutions, manufacturing, retail, distribution, life science, and technology.
• Utilizes and develops a basic understanding of various tax programs and tax software.
• Works with confidential client matters.
• Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience.
• Conducts tax research related to federal and state income taxes.
• Builds and manages client relationships.
• Performs other tax special project work.
