Wolf & Company invites dynamic entry-level Tax Staff to join our growing national firm in Boston, MA. You will focus on partnership and S Corporation returns, and learn to manage client tax obligations while enhancing financial performance.

As part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you will conduct tax research, help with planning projects, and build lasting client relationships. A bachelor0in accounting and internship or 1 year in public accounting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor06 degree with concentration in Accounting.
• Tax internship or 1 year of experience in public accounting.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated leadership and relationship skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of partnership and S Corporation income tax returns.
• Preparation of partnership withholding forms including Forms 1042 and Form 8804.
• Preparation of partnership capital accounts and allocations.
• Participates in tax planning project.
• Utilizes and develops a basic understanding of various tax programs and tax software.
• Works with confidential client matters.
• Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience.
• Conducts tax research related to federal and state income taxes.
• Builds and manages client relationships.
• Performs other tax special project work.
