Job summary

CLA is hiring an Experienced Tax Associate to service clients in our Southern Minnesota offices. Locations include: Mankato, Austin, New Ulm, Owatonna and Rochester. You will prepare and review tax returns with the tax team, handle client questions, and complete research as needed.

The role also involves training interns and collaborating with diverse clients to resolve complex issues. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and CPA eligibility or CPA status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns with the tax team.
• Handle routine client tax questions and work with client to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance.
• Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed.
• Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns.
• Develop and train team interns to help them build inspired careers.
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.
