Job summary

CLA, CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, is hiring an Experienced Tax Associate to service clients in our Southern Minnesota offices, including Mankato, Austin, New Ulm, Owatonna and Rochester. You will prepare and review tax returns and assist the tax team.

We value CPA candidates and interns; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and travel to client sites is expected. The role offers competitive compensation within Minnesota, with a pay range of $53,700 to $93,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred (internships may be acceptable).
• Ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns with the tax team.
• Handle routine client tax questions and work with client to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance.
• Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed.
• Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns.
• Develop and train team interns to help them build inspired careers.
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.
