Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) in Minnesota is seeking an Experienced Tax Associate to service clients across our Southern Minnesota offices, including New Ulm. You will prepare and review tax returns, handle routine client questions, and collaborate with the tax team to ensure timely compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA eligibility preferred, and about 1 year of relevant experience; travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred (prior experience via internship(s) may be acceptable).
• Ability to travel to client sites

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns with the tax team. Handle routine client tax questions and work with client to collect information for return completion and compliance.
• Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed.
• Have the ability to prepare simple tax returns.
• Develop and train team interns to help them build inspired careers.
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: $53,700.00 - $93,000.00
