Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or statistics required.
• CPA eligibility or authorization to test before start preferred.
• Master's in accounting or taxation preferred.
• CPA/EA progression for licensure encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns and ensure client compliance with authorities.
• Apply tax research to minimize client tax burdens.
• Assist with income tax provisions and FIN 48 as applicable.
• Draft clear memorandums and correspondence.
• Collaborate with senior on project follow-ups and close items.
• Maintain documentation of significant tax positions.
