Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of clerical experience, preferably involving public contact.
• Familiarity with NC General Statutes related to listing, valuation and taxability.
• Ability to review information monthly for correct motor vehicle billing and tax records.

Responsibilities

• Review documents and data for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter information into computer systems and access records as needed.
• Process tax listing forms for billing purposes.
• Handle inquiries from the public regarding real estate records and tax values.
• Maintain mailing addresses and process property data within the tax system.
• Support cashiering functions as needed and process refunds when applicable.
