Job summary

EY is a leader in providing tax services within the Financial Services Organization. The role focuses on delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting for clients in banking, asset management, insurance, and real estate sectors across the US.

Qualified candidates will have 2–3 years of tax experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams while supporting junior team members and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or Economics.
• A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant tax experience or equivalent in financial services.
• Excellent teaming, leadership, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tax compliance and consulting work for clients with a high degree of quality and attention to detail.
• Identify and communicate potential issues to support timely and accurate tax returns, research, accounting, and projects.
• Collaborate with clients and engagement teams, escalating complex matters to senior team members and subject-matter professionals as appropriate.
• Manage assigned workstreams independently while seeking guidance on complex or unique matters.
• Maintain regular communication with client tax liaisons and trust teams to support project execution and client service.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal team members.
• Coordinate engagement deliverables and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
• Contribute to the development of junior team members by sharing knowledge, providing support, and fostering collaboration.
