Job summary

The Internal Revenue Service, Taxpayer Services Division in Kansas City, seeks candidates for GS-11/GS-12 level positions in Accounts Management. Federal experience is not required; experience may be earned in public or private sectors or through volunteer work.

Qualifications include: specialized experience, or relevant graduate study, or a combination of education and experience. You must meet Time-After-Competitive Appointment (TACA) and Time in Grade (TIG) by the closing date.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service.
• Or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field.
• Or three (3) full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a doctoral degree.
• Or LL.M., if related.
• Or a combination of qualifying graduate education and experience equivalent to that amount required.

Responsibilities

• Oral and written communications to brief operating unit managers and employees; prepare reports; document findings and conclusions; and disseminate procedural and regulatory information.
