Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a year-round Block Advisor to prepare complex tax returns for individuals and businesses, conduct in-depth client interviews, and deliver personalized tax guidance. You will build year-round client relationships, identify savings opportunities, and promote Block services.

The role includes IRS support and audit guidance within a collaborative office. Candidates should have 5+ years of tax-related experience, strong communication skills, and must meet IRS/state CE

Qualifications

• Complete H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1.
• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience with complex individual and business returns including planning, audits, and notices.
• Proven client-facing advisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
