Lockheed Martin in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a motivated Tax and Accounting Associate to support tax work, month-end close, and general accounting activities within a regulated environment. The role emphasizes GAAP, SOX compliance, and collaboration with auditors and internal stakeholders.

You will prepare tax schedules, assist with reconciliations, and help produce management reports while ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• 1+ years of general accounting experience.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• High level of accuracy, attention to details and ability to work with a team.

Responsabilités

• Prepare long range plan, quarterly and annual tax schedules.
• Ensure GAAP, SOX compliance; document controls and assist with internal audits.
• Coordinate with external auditors, HR, and other internal stakeholders to provide required documentation.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy of workflows.
• Assist with month end and quarter end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and accruals.
• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
