Job summary

Cakebread Cellars is seeking staff to support premium tasting and hospitality experiences.

You will assist with food prep, inventory, and guest-area setup, ensuring high standards. This role involves opening/closing duties and working during events, with opportunities for growth and a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation: helping prepare food for premium tasting and hospitality experiences, including the Reserve Library, Wine & Food, Courtyard, and snack menus.
• Inventory support: monitoring food supplies and helping ensure adequate inventory.
• Guest-experience setup: preparing glassware, place settings, tasting materials, and sales materials before guests arrive.
• Guest-area cleanup: clearing and cleaning tables, chairs, floors, and tasting spaces after service.
• Dishware/materials: washing, drying, and properly storing glassware and tasting equipment.
• Opening/closing duties: helping with pre and post-shift setup, cleanup, and general housekeeping.

Job Summary

Under close supervision of the Guest Experiences Manager, the Tasting Room Support/Food Prep supports the day-to-day operation of premium tasting and hospitality experiences by ensuring food, supplies, service areas and glassware maintained to a high standard. The role contributes both behind the scenes and in guest-facing environments, helping the hospitality team provide an efficient, polished experience.

What we will ask you to do

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Standing/walking
• Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling
• Work extended hours/days during events

What you should bring to the table

• Experience in restaurant or restaurant like setting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Dedication to confidentiality, professionalism, and maturity.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and high-level of team collaboration.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using the reservation platform Tock

The salary range offered for this position is $20.00/hour-$22.00/hour. This hourly range represents what we anticipate to pay for this position. However, actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and education.
