Job summary

St. Julian Winery – Troy Tasting Room is seeking a part-time Tasting Room Key Holder to lead guest experiences and help run the Troy location. You will work with a friendly, fast-paced team, delivering great customer service and guiding guests through tastings and purchases.

Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude are valued. Weekend and holiday availability is required, and you can earn tips in addition to hourly pay while enjoying employee discounts and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead enjoyable wine tastings for guests.
• Help guests find wines they love and complete purchases.
• Open and close the tasting room as scheduled.
• Assist with cash handling, closing procedures, and deposits.
• Guide and support Wine Consultants during shifts.
• Assist with events, promotions, and busy tasting room weekends.
• Restock wine and merchandise and maintain attractive displays.
• Keep the tasting room organized, welcoming, and guest-ready.

St. Julian Winery – Troy Tasting Room

Looking for a part-time leadership role where you can work with people, learn about wine, and be part of a fun and energetic team?

St. Julian Winery, Michigan’s oldest and most awarded winery, is looking for a dependable and outgoing Tasting Room Key Holder to join our Troy team!

You do not need to be a wine expert to apply. We can teach you the wine — we are looking for someone with great customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the confidence to help lead a team and keep things running smoothly.

Part-Time | Up to 29 Hours Per Week

Hourly Pay + Tips | Typically $14–$25/Hour in Total Earnings

Perfect For Someone Who…

• Have retail, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience
• Have previous Key Holder, shift lead, supervisor, or similar experience
• Enjoy working with people and creating a great customer experience
• Are dependable, organized, and comfortable taking the lead when needed
• Can multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
• Are comfortable talking with individuals and groups
• Have a positive attitude and are willing to learn
