Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, wine-loving individual who is passionate about genuine hospitality to join our team! Take in the beautiful estate property while hosting guests in our tasting room, down in the caves, or out on our serene patio overlooking the vineyard. We offer a variety of wines including pinot noir, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, riesling, a syrah/pinot noir blend, and more from our import company. Come enjoy learning about and selling these fantastic brands and have fun while doing it!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet guests warmly and guide them through wine tasting flights, tours, and private tastings, focusing on education about our vineyard sources and old-world inspired production practices. Build rapport and establish genuine connections with guests.
2. Promote and sell/up-sell wines and wine club memberships to meet and exceed monthly goals.
3. Manage multiple tasting groups simultaneously and anticipate their needs.
4. Be an upbeat, personable team player who can support the team by taking on various roles and additional tasks as needed.
5. Ensure all hospitality spaces are stocked, clean, and organized, and set up and break down efficiently each day.
6. Operate within POS and reservation systems to process sales, memberships, shipping orders, and reservations.
7. Recognize signs of intoxication and take appropriate action.
8. Maintain a professional, friendly, and engaging demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
9. Assist with on-site and off-site events as needed.
10. Assemble small bite items for guests, adhering to food safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs repeatedly, and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Valid OLCC Servers Permit & food handlers card, or ability to obtain one.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledgeable about wine with a passion to learn and share information.
• Previous experience in wine, restaurant, sales, or hospitality roles.
• Detail-oriented, driven, professional appearance and demeanor.
• Friendly, engaging, passionate about wine, team-oriented.
• Availability 1-3 days a week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
