Job summary

Alila Ventana Big Sur, a Hyatt luxury property, seeks a Task Force Director of Food & Beverage to lead all F&B operations across SurHouse, SurStream, In Room Dining, Pool and Events. Reporting to the Resort Manager, you will drive exceptional service, menu development, and sustainable practices in a Forbes Four-Star, Michelin-recognized setting.

This role requires 5+ years of leadership in luxury F&B, strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage multi-outlet operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive F&B leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-outlet operations.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and labor cost management skills.
• Familiarity with Forbes/Michelin standards preferred.
• Food Safety and RBS certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and organization.
• Proficiency with POS, restaurant management software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets.
• Support outlet managers to deliver luxury service.
• Collaborate with culinary team on seasonal menus and beverage programs.
• Ensure health, safety, and licensing compliance.
• Engage guests during peak times to personalize experiences.
• Monitor guest feedback and drive service improvements.
• Lead events and banquets coordination.
