Job summary

Brewer Morris is seeking a Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence Manager in Potomac, MD (Hybrid). You will own the diligence process, interact with C-suite executives, and mentor junior staff, gaining exposure to business development and client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of public accounting or 3+ years TAS/M&A at a mid-to-large firm, strong FDD and financial analysis skills, and CPA or CPA candidate status.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience or 3+ years TAS/M&A at a mid-to-large firm.
• Strong FDD, financial analysis, and technical accounting capabilities.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial and operational due diligence engagements.
• Communicate findings to C-suite executives and client teams.
• Identify key QofE, working capital, and debt-like issues.
• Supervise and develop Associates and Senior Associates.
• Manage relationships between clients, target companies, and the advisory team.

(TAS/FDD) Manager w/ Top #10 National CPA Firm - Potomac, MD (Hybrid)

Our client is a Top #10 National CPA firm who are performing a select search for a Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence Manager who is interested in stepping into one of the fastest growing transaction advisory services practices in the country.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the diligence process, work directly with C-suite executives, lead and develop junior professionals, and gain increased exposure to business development and client relationships.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Lead financial and operational due diligence engagements
• Analyze financial and operating performance in the context of M&A transactions
• Identify and communicate key Quality of Earnings, working capital, and debt-like issues
• Work directly with C-suite executives at target companies
• Manage relationships between clients, target companies, and the advisory team
• Supervise and develop Associates and Senior Associates

Who We're Looking Fo

• 5+ years of public accounting experience or
• 3+ years of TAS/M&A-specific experience at a mid-to-large firm
• Strong FDD, financial analysis, and technical accounting capabilities
• Executive presence and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
