Job summary

Premier Warehousing Services, Inc. is seeking a Tarper for our facility in Slayden, TN. You will cover loaded flatbed trailers with tarps and secure them per DOT standards, using 4-inch straps and bungee cords while protecting loads from weather and dirt.

Expect to work outdoors and indoors in varying temperatures, with occasional overtime and potential weekend shifts. Pay starts at $18.00 per hour (day) or $18.50 per hour (night); benefits after 90 days and weekly pay. Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Cover loaded 45-53 ft flatbed trailers with tarps and secure them with bungee cords and 4" straps per DOT standards.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather/temperatures; physical tasks may involve lifting up to 50 lbs+ and team lifting.
• Overtime may be required; weekend work is rare but possible.
• Mon–Fri schedule with varying shifts; 7:00 am start or 6:30 pm start depending on day shift or night shift.
