Job summary

Premier Warehousing Services, Inc. in Cumberland Furnace, TN is seeking a Tarper to secure and tarp loaded flatbed trailers in varying conditions. This is a physical role requiring teamwork and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; you will place a plastic sheet over loads before tarping and secure with 4-inch straps and bungee cords per DOT standards.

Workdays are Mon–Fri with overtime possible. Benefits are offered after 90 days, and weekly pay with direct deposit is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs+ and perform repetitive tasks.
• Work outdoors and indoors in varying weather.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team or individually.

Responsibilities

• Cover loaded 45-53 ft flatbed trailers with tarps and secure loads with 4-inch straps and bungee cords per DOT standards.
• Place plastic sheets over loads before tarping to protect from weather and dirt.
• Adhere to safety PPE requirements and DOT guidelines; work schedule Mon–Fri with possible overtime.
