Job summary

Premier Warehousing Services, Inc. in Nashville, KS is seeking a Tarper to cover and secure loaded flatbed trailers with tarps and required straps. You will place a large sheet of plastic over loads and secure tarps per DOT standards, working indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

PPE is provided by the company. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs+, teamwork and self-motivation, with a starting pay of $17.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able and willing to work as part of a team, but also as a self-motivated individual.
• Physical job that may require working indoors and outdoors and in all types of weather.
• Pushing, pulling, and lifting tarps and other materials up to 50 lbs+ may be required.
• Overtime may be required.
• Permanent position which may require overtime work.

Responsibilities

• Cover loaded 45-53 ft flatbed trailers with tarps and securing the load and tarps with bungee cords and 4 inch straps per customer, company and DOT standards.
• Work schedule: Mon-Fri; overtime may be required.
• Use PPE as required; PPE provided by the company, except steel toe footwear.
