You will convert shipment information into Descartes’ Rate Master, process tariff updates, and assist customers with regulatory questions and filing confirmations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (2-year) or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time-sensitive and compliance-driven work.
• Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Solid analytical, clerical, and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict regulatory deadlines; basic geography knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Convert, enter, and maintain ocean transportation tariff data within Descartes’ Rate Master application.
• Process tariff updates in strict accordance with FMC/STB regulations and internal standards.
• Review and validate data to ensure it reflects customer business intent.
• Provide customers with filing confirmations and respond to inquiries regarding published tariffs.
• Assist customers with questions related to FMC regulations, tariff filings, and system functionality.
• Perform peer reviews and authorize updates completed by other team members for accuracy.
• Maintain organized electronic and general office records; support deadlines and overtime when required.
