Job summary

Dr. Squatch seeks a seasoned Director of Retail Sales to lead our Target partnership, owning the P&L and the strategy behind growth. You will define account strategy, lead high-stakes negotiations, and build the multi-year roadmap for distribution, space, and pricing.

You will coach and develop a team, and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Marketplaces so Dr. Squatch wins at shelf and online. The role is based in Minneapolis with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years in CPG sales or account management with P&L ownership.
• Direct Target experience including its buyer structure, JBP process, and planning cadence.
• Proven leadership; capable of coaching and building bench strength.

Responsibilities

• Own Target account strategy across distribution, assortment, space, pricing and digital.
• Lead the Joint Business Plan with Target and multi-year growth roadmap.
• Maintain senior relationships with Target buyers, merchants, and Roundel teams.
• Negotiate pricing, promotional funding and margin structures.
• Own account P&L: forecast accuracy, trade spend efficiency, ROI tracking.
• Use Circana/NIQ/Target POS data to identify trends and guide strategy.
• Lead, coach and develop the Target team and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Marketplaces and ecommerce on Target.com and digital shelf.
