Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking friendly, service-oriented team members for taqueria roles in a fast-paced environment. You will greet customers, assist cooks, and prepare food orders while ensuring quality, portion control, and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, basic English, and the ability to work safely in a busy setting. Positions can be part-time or full-time with flexible evening and weekend schedules.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide outstanding, prompt service.
• Prepare food orders consistently in portion, quality, and appearance to company standards.
• Only prepare food orders that have been paid for.
• Promote sales by suggestive selling of advertised specials.
• Assist cooks in gathering and preparing meats and other ingredients.
• Notify management when products or supplies are needed.
• Transport products to and from coolers and storage areas.
• Monitor food temperatures and report discrepancies to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work safely, using tools and equipment properly, and report issues immediately.
• Treat coworkers and customers respectfully; no profanity or obscene gestures.
• Follow all health codes, food safety practices, and sanitation procedures.
• Follow company dress code; change apron/smock as needed.
• Abide by all company rules and Employee Handbook policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
