Job summary

Qualifications

• Friendly courteous personality with strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Vallarta's Taquera menu and food preparation.
• Familiarity with equipment used in the Taquera department.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide outstanding prompt service.
• Prepare food orders consistently in portion quality and appearance to company standards.
• Only prepare food orders that have been paid for.
• Promote sales by suggestive selling of advertised specials.
• Assist cooks in gathering and preparing meats and other ingredients.
• Notify management when products or supplies are needed.
• Transport products to and from coolers and storage areas.
• Monitor food temperatures and report discrepancies to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow health codes food safety practices and sanitation procedures.
• Follow company dress code and policies.
