Job summary

Strong Rope Brewery is seeking a Floor Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations in the taproom, events, and guest-facing areas. You will collaborate with the GM and FOH leaders to schedule, coach, and supervise staff, while upholding high standards and a welcoming guest experience.

This hands-on role requires problem-solving on the floor, ownership of shift quality, and the ability to adapt to busy periods, evenings, weekends, and private events while maintaining Strong Rope's hospitality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospitality experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage on-floor operations during openings, events, and busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily FOH operations as Manager on Duty, overseeing opening, service, and closing procedures.
• Build weekly schedules in partnership with GM, matching staffing to sales, seasonality, reservations and events.
• Coach FOH team, reinforce hospitality standards, support onboarding and training, address attendance and conduct issues.
• Maintain guest experience by monitoring service quality, speed, cleanliness, organization, and guest flow; resolve routine concerns.
• Ensure taproom spaces are clean, organized, stocked, and presented with menus and signage.
• Support private events and public programming by coordinating FOH staffing and preparation.
