Job summary

MadTree Oakley Taproom in Cincinnati seeks a Taproom Ambassador to greet guests, guide experiences, and support events with a warm, welcoming approach. You will cross-train across hospitality roles, assist with reservations, and help create memorable visits that reflect MadTree’s community-focused ethos.

The role is seasonal and part-time, requires weekend availability, and reports to the FOH Manager. Compensation starts at $15.00/hour with opportunities for tips during events.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or customer service experience is preferred.
• Availability on weekends (Fri–Sun) required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, welcoming guest experience and assist with guest requests.
• Assist guests with reservations and guide them to their tables efficiently.
• Process payments accurately (cash, card, contactless) following company rules.
• Rotate merchandising displays per leadership planograms and support PE events.
• Collaborate with PE Captain and PE Coordinator for event setup and teardown.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Taproom Ambassador, you will be a source of knowledge on all things MadTree and be able to cross train across roles. Whether helping to guide the experience of our guests as they arrive and navigate our popular Oakley Taproom, cross training to work the Private Event, or a guest needs directed to a complimentary table reservation they are a part of. You will be driving their experience through the warm and welcoming experience your provide. You will also be an avid MadTree Brewing Company ambassador who lives out our behaviors of… Connect, Grow, and Give a F*ck.

SHIFTS:

Must have availability (at least two of the days) Friday, Saturday, Sunday with availability on Sunday (AM/PM) preferred.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$15.00/hour base pay, with opportunities to $5.50/hour with tips when assisting with events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivering a warm and welcoming experience to all guests; facilitating all guest requests and needs, and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues.
• Exceeding the expectations of your guests through the execution of our Service Sequence.
• Have a knowledge and understanding of table reservations in the taproom for each shift, assisting guests as they arrive to locate their table(s) quickly and efficiently.
• Processing payments, including cash, credit, and contactless payment methods accurately while following company rules on money handling.
• Execute the rotating merchandising displays from planograms provided by leadership.
• As business and volume changes, being ready to work alongside the PE Captain and PE Coordinator for event set up, execution and take down.
