Job summary

Boston Beer Corporation is seeking a full-time Server to deliver the Dogfish experience at Brewings & Eats. You will provide superior service, take and deliver orders, and help guests enjoy beer and food while upholding responsible service.

Candidates should have 1–2 years in a fast-paced restaurant, High School Diploma or GED, and may pursue Certified Beer Server credentials. This role offers tips and benefits as part of a full-time position.

Qualifications

Experience in a fast paced restaurant environment.
High School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years experience as a server or food/beer runner in a Tap Room desired.
Certified Beer Server or willingness to complete certification.

Responsibilities

Provides timely service that enhances guests' experience.
Takes food/beverage orders and keys them into IPAD and sends to kitchen/bar.
Collects order from kitchen/bar, places on trays, and serves to patrons.
Computes bill and accepts payments using Square Up for restaurants POS system off IPAD mini.
Requests proper identification from customers when legal drinking age is questioned.
Removes empty or dirty glasses, plates, and bottles/cans and returns them to bar or kitchen.
Performs daily/nightly side work duties assigned by direct manager.
Suggestively sell beer/food items to customers.
