Job summary

The Boston Beer Company in Rehoboth Beach, DE is seeking a full-time Server to provide attentive, beer-forward service at Brewings & Eats. You will take orders, deliver dishes, handle payment with Square, and ensure guests enjoy the Dogfish experience.

Candidates should have restaurant experience, a HS diploma, 1–2 years server work, and a willingness to obtain a Certified Beer Server certification. On-site role with tips and a benefits package including healthcare, a 401(k) plan, and stock

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast paced restaurant environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years experience as a server or food/beer runner in a Tap Room desired.
• Certified Beer Server or willingness to complete certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely service that enhances guests’ experience.
• Takes food/beverage orders and keys them into IPAD and sends to kitchen/bar.
• Collects order from kitchen/bar, places on trays, and serves to patrons.
• Computes bill and accepts payments using Square Up for restaurant POS system off IPAD mini.
• Requests proper identification from customers when legal drinking age is questioned.
• Removes empty or dirty glasses, plates, and bottles/cans and returns them to bar or kitchen.
• Performs daily/nightly side work duties assigned by direct manager.
• Suggestively sell beer/food items to customers.
