Job summary

Campbell Transportation Company, Inc is seeking a Vessel Tankerman for the Gulf Division in Channelview, TX. This full-time role involves loading/unloading cargo, performing inspections, and maintaining equipment in a safety‑driven environment.

The candidate must hold a USCG Tankerman-PIC endorsement, have at least one year of Tankerman experience, and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The job requires physical capability and willingness to work long shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid, current MMD endorsed as Tankerman-PIC (Barge) Dangerous Liquids through USCG.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Tankerman.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, and maintain a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and regulatory requirements for loading/unloading or transport.
• Complete Declaration of Inspection and other required documents per USCG regulations.
• Participate in Benzene Monitoring Program and ensure safe cargo handling.
• Perform basic vessel maintenance and deliver cargo with proper rigging and tow operations.
• Communicate clearly on VHF radio and follow captain instructions.
• Must be able to perform duties in outdoor weather conditions and work shifts of 12–15 hours.
