Job summary

Altom Transport, Inc. is seeking an experienced long-haul tanker driver to support deliveries of bulk liquids across multiple regions in the United States. The role requires a CDL Class A license, hazmat endorsement preferred, and the ability to meet strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A License.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred (must obtain within 90 days of hire).
• TWIC Card preferred (or must obtain after hire).
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tanker driving experience.
• At least 23 years of age.
• Clean MVR and strong safety record.
• Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Able to work independently with a safety mindset.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations.
• Rigorous onboarding and new hire safety training.
• Quarterly safety meetings throughout the fleet.
• HM 232 Compliance & Emergency Response Plan provided.
• General Awareness testing per 49 CFR 172-part H.
• Drug & Alcohol Policy and DOT Compliance program.
• Forward-facing cameras on all Altom and contractor equipment.
• Governing company equipment.
• Incident & Accident Investigation Program.
• RCMS Certified / HSE policy.
• PPE provided, including replacement policy.

Responsibilities

• Long-haul driving across regions delivering bulk liquid materials.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections to comply with DOT regulations.
• Safely load and unload tanker trailers with hoses and pumps.
• Maintain trip records and incidents for compliance.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers to manage deliveries.
• Follow all hazmat and transportation regulations.
• Maintain mileage and workload to support operations.
