Altom Transport, Inc. is seeking a qualified tanker driver to join our team. You will perform long-haul runs delivering bulk liquids, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. This role requires a valid CDL Class A, tanker experience, and the ability to pass DOT screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and hazmat endorsement preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire (assistance provided).
• TWIC card preferred or must be obtained after hire; minimum 1 year verifiable tanker experience.
• Must be 23 years or older with a clean MVR and strong safety record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive long-haul tanker routes across multiple regions, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to comply with DOT and safety policies.
• Safely load/unload tanker trailers; manage hoses and pumps per safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate trip, inspection, and incident records for compliance.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries and schedules.
• Adhere to federal/state/local hazmat regulations and safety requirements.
• Maintain steady mileage and workload to support operational efficiency.
