Job summary

Altom Transport seeks experienced tanker drivers to safely operate bulk liquid transport and manage pre/post-trip inspections. You will load/unload with proper safety protocols, maintain logs, and communicate with dispatchers while meeting DOT and company safety standards.

Candidates must hold a valid CDL Class A, X endorsement, and Tanker endorsement, with Hazmat preferred. Flexible schedules and 24/7 operations may be required, and a clean driving record is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable tanker driving experience within last 5 years.
• Must hold X endorsement (Hazmat + Tanker) and Tanker Endorsement (N).
• Hazmat Endorsement (H) preferred (must obtain within 90 days of hire).
• TWIC card preferred (or obtained after hire).
• Clean MVR and strong safety record; no major violations in 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials.
• Load/unload using hoses, pumps, and valves following safety protocols.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document results.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and inspection reports.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.
• Adhere to DOT, EPA, and applicable safety regulations.
• Present Altom professionally during customer interactions.
