Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a dedicated tanker truck driver to transport and deliver materials to customer and company locations across the region. You will perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and unload materials, and maintain precise delivery records while communicating with dispatch and site personnel.

Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Doubles Endorsements and show a strong safety record.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Safely operate a tanker truck to transport and deliver materials to customer and company locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Load, unload, and handle materials in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by following all company policies, environmental standards, and transportation regulations.
What Are We Looking For
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate Tanker and Doubles Endorsements and a strong commitment to safe driving practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate tanker equipment safely and efficiently in a variety of conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete inspections, documentation, and regulatory requirements accurately.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills with a professional and team-oriented approach.
  • Dependable, safety-focused individual who can adapt to changing schedules, priorities, and operational needs.
Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

  • $30.00 to $45.00 per hour.
