Job summary

Quality Depot Solutions (QDS) in Channelview, TX, seeks a Depot Yard Inspector to ensure every tank that leaves the facility is defect-free and correctly labeled.

You will perform walk-around inspections, verify tank numbers against customer work orders, and act as the final quality control step before transport to customers.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, strong attention to detail, and experience in trucking or intermodal transport; proficiency with Google Workspace is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail to perform high-quality inspections.
• Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry.
• Basic computer knowledge; Google Workspace preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tanks leaving the facility for defects and damages.
• Serve as a final quality check to ensure correct tanks are transported.
• Conduct walk-around inspections before delivery to customers.
• Compare tank numbers on customer work orders to actual tanks.
• Handle other duties as assigned as the last step in QC.
