Job summary

CB&I is seeking a skilled welder to lay out, weld, and assemble fabricated components such as tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems. You will read blueprints, select appropriate materials, and apply welding techniques with various processes to ensure tight tolerances and structural integrity.

Role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety standards, and ability to work with precision in a fast-paced industrial setting in Tampa, FL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in fabrication or welding is typical for the role.

Responsibilities

• Selects type and size of pipe or other related materials and equipment according to specifications.
• Welds and assembles metal components per drawings and procedures.
• May use various welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SMAW) as required by the job.
• Lays out, positions, aligns and fits components together in various body positions.
• Performs maintenance or cleaning of tools and equipment; ensures safety procedures are followed.
