Job summary

Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CB&I) is seeking a skilled welder to layout, weld and assemble fabricated components into tanks, pressure vessels, furnaces and piping systems per blueprints. You will work on site using multiple welding processes and materials to ensure proper fit and strength.

Candidates must read drawings, follow procedures, observe safety rules and collaborate with teammates on complex, high‑precision builds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial welding processes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align and weld metal components per specifications.
• Select welding processes and equipment as required by procedure.
• Inspect welds for size, fusion and quality using standard methods.
• Assist with fitting, assembly and alignment of piping systems and tanks.
