Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a skilled welder-fitter to join our team. You will weld and fit parts using MIG and TIG methods, work with mild and stainless steel, and perform thermal cutting and grinding as required.

The role supports repairing components, preparing parts, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards. A high school diploma or GED is required, and a welding certificate is a plus.

• Industrial setting experience required.
• Welding Certificate is a plus but not required.

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $20.00 to $39.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Role overview:

Handles welding and fitting both mild steel and stainless steel, welding parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes. Performs thermal cutting and grinding, repairing broken or cracked parts, filling holes, increasing the size of metal parts.

Position Responsibilities:

• Must be able to utilize both MIG and TIG

• Adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes
• Clean, organize and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

• Ability to operate an acetylene torch
• Read and comprehend measurements, and job sheets
• Worked in an industrial setting
• High school diploma or GED
