Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT certified Trailer Mechanic for our Port Allen, LA location. The role requires 2–4+ years of tank/trailer repair experience, including skin repairs and DOT HM183 compliance knowledge.

Diagnose failures, repair mechanical and electrical systems, and work on tank trailers with a focus on quality and safety. Shift Mon–Fri, pay $24–$38 per hour depending on experience; benefits and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• DOT certified Trailer Mechanic with 2–4+ years of tank/trailer repair experience
• Skin repair experience
• Ability to diagnose failures on mechanical and electrical systems
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and perform repairs on tank trailers and related systems
• Repair tank skin and suspension components
• Work with air brake systems and perform related maintenance
• Inspect tanks and trailers to ensure DOT HM183 compliance
• Welding on TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon as needed (optional)
