Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT-certified Trailer Mechanic for our Port Allen, LA location. The ideal candidate has 2-4+ years in tank/trailer repair and skin repair experience. This full-time role offers a structured shift and competitive pay.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Pay: $24.00–$38.00 per hour, with skill-based reviews and potential increases every 6 months. Join a team with nationwide reach and strong safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on a tank trailer (DOT HM183).
• Perform tank service and trailer suspension installation/repair.
• Experience with skin repairs and air brake systems.
• Welding: TIG aluminum/stainless/carbon (optional).
• Ability to inspect tanks/trailers to ensure compliance with DOT standards.
