Job summary

Depot Connect International is seeking a DOT-certified Trailer Mechanic for our Port Allen, LA location. The role requires 2-4+ years of tank and/or trailer repair experience and offers a pay range of $24.00 to $38.00 per hour, with shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

The successful candidate will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on tank trailers, perform tank service and suspension work, and ensure DOT HM183 compliance.

Qualifications

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical/electrical systems on tank trailers.
• Tank service and repair experience.
• Trailer suspension installation and repair.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
• TIG welding experience (optional).
• Inspect tanks/trailers to align with DOT HM183 standards.
