Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking a seasoned Tank Maintenance Manager to oversee all refinery tank outages, maintenance, and safety programs at the Corpus Christi site. You will lead 10-year repair planning, drive API653 compliance, and manage capital funding with cross-functional teams, ensuring contractor and CITGO adherence to safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities include budgeting for tank repairs, coordinating with Inspection, Operations, and Safety, and administering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related technical degree with 7 years of job related experience, or 15 years maintenance experience in lieu of degree.
• Basic knowledge of Primavera Project 3.0 and SAP.
• API653 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scope of work and budget for each tank repair; generate documentation (AFE, MOC, schedule, plan) and secure funding.
• Develop long-range 10-year tank repair schedule to align with API653; coordinate with Inspection, Operations, Environmental and Safety teams.
• Create consolidated yearly budgets for tank repairs ($15M–$25M/year) and track monthly spending; manage cost control and variance reporting.
