Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is hiring an experienced Electrician to support operations at the Corpus Christi Refinery. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of petrochemical or industrial experience or relevant education qualifications. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems up to 13.8KV, interpreting schematics, and ensuring safety at the site.

This position requires physical capability and the ability to obtain a TWIC card. Please note that relocation benefits are not available, and employer will not sponsor visas.

Qualifications

• 5 years of petrochemical/industrial experience as a journeyman level Electrician.
• OR completion of a 4-year certified Electrician Apprenticeship plus 2 years industrial experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in high locations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on motors and switchgear.
• Test electrical equipment using various testing instruments.
• Interpret electrical control schematics and one-line diagrams.
