Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) seeks a skilled maintenance technician to work on ISO Tank Containers, performing pressure tests and drying tanks, and repairing valves, gaskets, and gauges.

You will operate hoists, cranes, and precision instruments, using hand and power tools; comfortable with heights, respirators, and enclosures inside tanks. DCI offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background required.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail oriented and meticulous.
• Willing to wear a respirator; comfortable with heights on top of tanks.
• Able to work in enclosed spaces inside tanks.

Responsibilities

• Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges.
• Drain tank and ensure tank is dry.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues.
• Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts.
• Lubricate and clean parts.
• Operate lathe, drill press and grinders.
• Use hand tools and power tools.

Role Overview

Working on ISO Tank Containers by pressure testing tanks, drain and dry out the inside of the tank. Repair and replace tank container valves, gaskets and gauges.

Position Responsibilities

• Pressure test, repair and replace valves, gaskets and gauges
• Drain tank and insuring tank is dry.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and precision measuring and testing instruments
• Observe and listen to mechanical devices to diagnose causes of mechanical issues
• Repair and replace defective parts, inspect and adjust used parts
• Lubricate and clean parts
• Operate lathe, drill press and grinders
• Use hand tools and power tools

Qualifications

• Candidates will possess a mechanical background
